Space Raiders
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
This is a side project I've been working on since early March 2024, as a way to apply the knowledge I've been gaining in game development. Space Raiders is a 2D arcade-y spaceship shooter game with a vampire survivors style upgrade system.
As it is in version 1.0.0, the game is playable, but is minimal and limited in gameplay variety. It uses free assets as well as a few custom assets.

Install instructions
Download and extract the zip file that corresponds to your operating system. There are two files, just make sure the PCK file is in the same folder as the executable, and you can start the game by double-clicking the executable or entering it in the terminal.

Hey man, I found your game whilst trying to find an asset pack, could you tell me where did you get the graphics for this project? It seems to be made in Godot, I'll chek it later
Nvm, I found it, it comes from the Kenney's space shooter extension, right?

Yeah, there's the space shooter extension pack and the space shooter redux pack at kenney.nl. I think I also used sound effects and particles from Kenney as well.
